[DW] Uber has admitted that hackers stole personal data from more than 57 million customers around the world. The ride-hailing service initially tried to cover up the 2016 incident.Some 57 million Uber users had their information hacked, including names, emails and mobile phone numbers, Uber said in a blog post on Tuesday.
The ride-hailing service said other personal information, including trip details or credit card information, had not been accessed.
