The Islamic Center of Passaic County says it has gotten eight telephone threats to burn the center down and kill its occupants, prompting extra police patrols in the area. NorthJersey.com quotes Paterson Police Director Jerry Speziale as saying the Omar Mosque, where suspect Sayfullo Saipov is reported to have prayed, also received threats. Officials there did not respond to a request for comment Thursday. Saipov, who lived next door to the Omar mosque, is charged with providing material support to the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. #4 I don't have a problem with 'Muslim backlash'. In fact I think it's way overdue. I've seen a number of polls where US muslims support the implementation of Sharia law here. Not here, not ever. If this requires us to start a long, long overdue counteroffensive with leveling your houses of worship, so be it. |

#1 This is something i said in 2003. At one time we were perfectly willing flatten the oldest* abbey in Europe. Along with numerous other houses of worship. Now as a nation and society we seem afraid that "they might get mad at us". I hate to be the one to break it to you but they already are mad at us. At the time I thought maybe now the idiots will get it. There I go thinking again |
