NSC rejects contacts between Atmar and Taliban leaders in Pakistan and Qatar |

[Khaama (Afghanistan)] The Office of the National Security Council of Afghanistan rejected reports regarding the contacts between the national security adviser Mohammad Hanif Atmar and the Taliban ...Arabic for students... leaders based in Pakistain and Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates... A statement by the Office of the National Security Adviser said the reports are baseless suggesting that contacts have been made with the Taliban leaders. The statement further added that the Afghanistan High Peace Council is the main institution tasked with the affairs of holding talks with the anti-government armed bad boy groups. The statement also added that the National Security Council supports peace talks under the leadership of President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani ![]() and the Afghanistan High Peace Council. |
