| #3 They showed more respect for each other than our contemporary 'nattering nabobs of negativism'. True. These "nattering nabobs of negativism" seem to lack much ideology which drives them. Many are anarchists--they just want to tear everything down. Many are paid protesters. Many are Obama and Hillary followers wanting to hang on to the Deep State. One thing they have in common is a lemming-like drive for destruction and chaos. To continue on an unknown path with little guidance as to where they are going is fool-hearty. It is like jumping off a cliff and hoping you will have a good landing. Once the genie is out of the bottle, there is no getting it back in. |
