According to a Kurdish source close to al-Masdar News, Ottoman Turkish troops and aligned Syrian rebels launched a brief assault on the SDF-held town of Maranaz under the cover of darkness. Ottoman Turkish artillery units opened fire on the villages of Ayn Daknah, al-Biloniyah, Sheikh Issa, al-Samuqah and Tall Rifaat today, targeting positions controlled by SDF fighters.

Sporadic firefights are also taking place across Efrin’s eastern frontline. al-Masdar News was unable to obtain information regarding casualties due to the renewed fighting.
