Islamic State fighters fired Grad rockets ...Soviet-developed 122-mm rockets, usually launched from trucks. Newer versions are reported to have a range of up to 30 km.... on American troops east of Tal Afar, a town still under control of the gunnies west of djinn-infested Mosul ... the home of a particularly ferocious and hairy djinn... , according to an online statement from the group. The American military had said earlier that two US service members had been killed and five injured during combat operations in northern Iraq on Sunday. |
