 has had a long run. At 77 -- and a multi-millionaire -- the Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, Democrat could ride off into the sunset.

But the former Speaker of the House said Sunday she's not going anywhere.

"Self-promotion is a terrible thing, but somebody has to do it," Pelosi said on Fox News Sunday. "I am a master politician. I know the budget to the nth degree."

There have been rumblings that Democrats want to replace its aging leadership before the 2018 mid-term elections. Right now, there is no leader of the party, with Hillary Clinton

There have been a few coup attempts, but none that reached critical mass. Still, things have gotten worse for Democrats who have lost all four special elections this year and are struggling to find a message that resonates with working-class Americans.

#14  Weekend at Bernie's Pelosi's. What is her staff going to do when she passes the mortal realm? The incoming replacement won't need them as he/she/it will be the most junior of the critters. All that power and (real) privilege gone. You think they'll be welcomed in to other offices that they've treated like serfs for over a decade?

Even though they are a minority by number, they are a UNIFIED minority. Not one of them ever votes out of line.

Republicans on the other hand have enough RINO's voting like Democrats the TRUE MINORITY is the Republicans.

Even though Republicans now win more elections these Democratic Leaders ALWAYS find a way to hold power in DC.
