Former US allies hammer the Syrian Army, Hezbollah with GRAD rockets
2017-07-24
[AlMasdar] On Saturday morning, the Free Syrian Army
... the more palatable version of the Syrian insurgency, heavily influenced by the Moslem Brüderbund...
’s (FSA) Osoud al-Sharqiya branch deployed two BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers against the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), Hezbollah and Iraqi volunteers in the desert of southern Syria.

Targeting government-held positions in southeastern parts of Rif Dimashq province, the FSA launched dozens of longe-range rockets on Tall Mahruta, a hill near the border with Jordan that was brought under SAA control earlier this month.

Due to a lack of manpower and being heavily outnumbered by the SAA and its paramilitary allies, the FSA relies primarily on artillery barrages to keep pro-government forces in check.

Al-Masdar News was unable to determine whether or not the SAA and its allies sustained any casualties following the rebel bombardment.

Osoud al-Sharqiya (translates into Lions of the East) represents one of three FSA factions operating in the Badia Desert. The two other groups are the known as the Ahmad al-Abdo Martyrs Brigade and Jaish Maghawir al-Thawra.

These rebel forces are supported by US, British and Norwegian special forces that are based around a military base at the al-Tanf border crossing. The FSA fighters all originate from Sunni tribes in Deir Ezzor but fled to Jordan following ISIS’ takeover of the province. Subsequently, they were vetted and trained by US special forces and funnelled back across the border.

Unfortunately for the aforementioned FSA groups, Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
recently ordered the CIA stop all aid to their forces, leaving them to fend for themselves. In turn, persistent rumours indicate the US-led coalition’s ground troops at al-Tanf will evacuate to Hasakah province instead.

#7  Time to do away with the CIA and bring back the OSS. And it should have a limit of 5% Ivy league clones. Working as janitors and cafeteria workers.

#5  CIA has historically a bad record of their support turning around to bit us in the ass. They think short term, rarely long term.

Well documented:

Support for Castro in Cuban Revolution, Bay of Pigs, Vietnam Tet Offensive, The Yom Kippur War, Iranian Revolution, Russian invasion of Afghanistan, Collapse of the Soviet Union, Indian Nuclear test, Pakistani Nuclear test, Iraqi invasion, 9/11 attacks, Hasenfus C-123 shoot down and Gun running in Nicaragua & El Salvador, Suicide attack by Dr. Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi at FOB Chapman, AFG. Obama documents clean up at State Department Passport Office, Betrayal of Jailed Pakistani doctor Shakil Afridi in 'made for TeeVee' Bin Laden take down.

Probables:

Benghazi, The Nidal Hassan and Anwar al-Awlaki caper, The traveling Tsarnaev brothers, GITMO Catch and Release program, Sergeant Bergdahl prisoner exchange, pallets of USD and Swiss Frncs to Iran via unmarked planes, Access of Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.

Just to name a few.

#3  Just because the CIA been ordered to stop all support doesn't mean that the US Military cannot support them.

CIA is out of control, thus the stop order. The military is doing a grand job and probably will continue support to worthwhile groups.

CIA has historically a bad record of their support turning around to bit us in the ass. They think short term, rarely long term.

#1  They would use Millennial rockets but they're hard to start and don't go the distance.
