According to a military source, the jihadists assaulted the area in an attempt to cut off the main supply route to the northern city of Aleppo. However, some men learn by reading. A few learn by observation. The rest have to pee on the electric fence for themselves... the source confirmed that the road remained fully operational as the attack took place in a relatively distant area. The 6-hour long battle has failed to grant the assailants any significant gains as the government troops were capable of entirely repelling the offensive. Up to 20 jihadists were killed in the failed assault in addition to 3 machinegun-mounted trucks destroyed. The Syrian forces also managed to capture a vehicle loaded with ammunition for the terror group. As for the government forces, 3 troops were killed, 7 others injured while defending the area. |
