Comey Received Word of Firing From TV Reports, Thought It Was Fake News

[Free Beacon] FBI Director James Comey thought it was a prank when he first heard that he had been fired on television on Tuesday.

Comey reportedly laughed at the news reports of his termination before his staffers confirmed it was true as he was speaking to FBI employees in Los Angeles, the Hill and New York Times report. TV screens behind Comey began to show the news.

Comey flew back to Washington, D.C., on Tuesday evening after receiving word of his firing. TV news helicopters followed Comey's motorcade through traffic all the way to his plane then taking off.

The letter from President Donald Trump notifying Comey of his termination was delivered to FBI headquarters in DC, but Comey was not there to receive it himself.

#15  When the "deep state" consists of lefty left-overs from previous administrations and a bureaucracy largely made up of Democrat voters, swamp-draining goes slowly and is difficult. Couple that with governmental unions and you have a extremely difficult task.

During WWII too many casualties for an officer performing death notifications, they used Western Union. Nothing sent a chill down a loved one's back than to see the Western Union kid on the block.

Actually, with the Deep State at war with Trump, its what they all deserve in the end when it comes time.

Let's not let perfection become the enemy of just good enough. POTUS got the ball on the green from the Tee and sunk the 9 foot putt. More please, and faster. The 'swamp' contains many more like Comey and some will certainly not learn from the example.
