UN 'closely monitoring' terrorist hunger strike

[IsraelNationalNews] The United Nations on Tuesday said it was following closely the hunger strike by more than 1,000 terrorists in Israeli prisons.

"We are obviously aware of the situation and following the developments closely," said UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric, according to AFP.

#3  When you think about it, the headline provides an apt summary of everything that is wrong with the UN. It "monitors" rather than acts, and WHAT it chooses to monitor is rarely worth the time of day.
