[LAWFAREBLOG] DOJ has just issued a blurb announcing that it is suing to revoke the US citizenship of Iyman Faris, A naturalized citizen originally from Pak Kashmir.
who was convicted in 2003 of providing material support to al Qaeda (Faris was an al Qaeda operative working with KSM, and had considered an attempt to take down the Brooklyn Bridge). Faris received a twenty-year sentence in that case, and is in the federal penitentiary in Marion, Illinois currently.
