North Korea warns of 'merciless' strikes as U.S. carrier joins South Korea drills |
2017-03-14 |
[REUTERS] North Korea warned the United States on Tuesday of "merciless" attacks if an aircraft carrier strike group led by the USS Carl Vinson, which is joining South Korean forces for exercises, infringes on its illusory sovereignty or dignity. North Korea, which has alarmed its neighbors with two nuclear tests and a string of missile launches since last year, said the arrival of the U.S. strike group was part of a "reckless scheme" to attack it. "If they infringe on the DPRK's illusory sovereignty and dignity even a bit, its army will launch merciless ultra-precision strikes from ground, air, sea and underwater," the North's state news agency KCNA said. North Korea's official name is the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. "On March 11 alone, many enemy carrier-based aircraft flew along a course near territorial air and waters of the DPRK to stage drills of dropping bombs and making surprise attacks on the ground targets of its army," KCNA said. A U.S. Navy front man said the Carl Vinson was on a regular, scheduled deployment to the region during which it would take part in exercises with the forces of ally South Korea. |

#8 Coups supported by China of course, to send a message to China that we're sick of them using the North Koreans as a puppet to annoy us. Perhaps one or two about Nuclear experts and missile experts planning to escape to the South and about sabotage to nuclear tech sold to Iran. Stir the paranoia pot. |

#7 Might be a good time for some fake leaks about coups that would start North Korea purging their military ranks. |

#6 Does Dave have to buy a round at the Club for the nuke comment, or does that only apply to F-150 and Arc-Light? |

#5 If I were Trump... I'd invite Pudge for a personal meeting at Mar-a-Lago and make a deal. No, not to buy him off, silly! That just encourages more of the same behavior, but to explain the facts of life and how the current situation cannot continue. First, of course, you'd need to meet with Xi Jinping to sort things out. (That's scheduled for next month I believe) And in the meantime, I'd continue assembling the Big Stick as per #1. War games, positioning assets and missile defense. All very public. Here's Seal Team Six memorizing the floor plan of the Pudgidential Palace and all that. Without a stick, there is no carrot. |

#1 Oh, good grief. These feces-flinging commiemonkeys have been jumping up and down screaming about "dire revenge" or whatever for the last 60+ years. Time for this shit to end. Nuke 'em, and be done with it. |
