Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (Nusra) expels Jund Al-Aqsa from its ranks |
2017-01-25 |
[ALMASDARNEWS] Jabhat Fateh al-Sham ...formerly al-Nusra, the current false nose and mustache of al-Qaeda in the Levant... (formerly Nusra Front) released a statement expelling the al Qaeda-linked Jund al-Aqsa terrorist group from its ranks following increased tensions between the latter and other rebel groups in Idlib and Hama countrysides. The Emir of Jund al-Aqsa had pledged allegiance to JFS several months ago when an intra-jihadist civil war almost blew up due to Aqsa's unrelenting harassment of other factions most dominantly the powerful Turkish-backed Ahrar al-Sham ...a Syria jihadi group made up of Islamists and salafists, not that there's that much difference, formed into a brigade. They make up the main element of the Islamic Front but they don't profess adoration of al-Qaeda and they've been fighting (mainly for survival) against the Islamic State. Their leadership was wiped out at a single blow by a suicide kaboom at a crowded basement meeting in September, 2014... rebel group. With Jund al-Aqsa's violations unwavering and the prospects of a jihadist civil war increasingly becoming likely with infighting breaking all over Idlib's Jabal al-Zawiyah region, Nusra decided to expel Aqsa citing their lack of commitment to the agreement hoping to avoid a bloodbath that could take rebel-dominated Idlib by storm. |
