North Dakota may eliminate penalties for running down protesters who block the freeway

Protesters may want to think twice about blocking roads in North Dakota. Republican lawmakers in the state introduced a bill last week in the legislature that would not hold motorists liable for negligently running over someone obstructing a roadway.
We'll call it the "Instapundit Law"...
The bill was introduced in response to a year of protests over a proposed pipeline near the Standing Rock Indian Reservation. "A driver of a motor vehicle who negligently causes injury or death to an individual obstructing vehicular traffic on a public road, street, or highway may not be held liable for any damages," the bill reads. "A driver of a motor vehicle who unintentionally causes injury or death to an individual obstructing vehicular traffic on a public road, street, or highway is not guilty of an offense."

Lawmakers told the Bismarck Tribune that the bill is needed after protesters blocked traffic during oil pipeline protests."

#14  It's trivially easy to go to junk yards like Pullapart, rip out an entire lightly used windshield washer system: tank, tubes, nozzles & controllers. Just find one the right size to fit under the hood. MacGyver an installation, put a switch on the dash & you too can make front end of your car pee straight ahead. Fluids of your choice.

If you had seen some of the checkpoints we ran over in the messed up countries we were in, you would know.

Make all states do this if only to protect the Emergency personnel from being slaughtered.

But no man has a right to restrict my travel, or any possible Life Saving Means which means immediate arrest for freeway obstruction.

Any time, anywhere. Any LEO not doing so endangers everyone and IS violating law.

Have we been clear, or do I need to spend another 8 hours destroying the premise of go##amn hippies on the freeway we paid for, or the one where we take state officials in for all damages.

I will run those motherf&ckers over any second I feel my occupants are in danger.

And it is in my full legal right.
Mob rule and third world tactics I will not play, but I will not stop to clear you off my axle.

Get off my passage and get out of my lane.

Get soros off my lawn.
Get off my life.

#3  One other thing - note that from the link above, how many of these 'Black Lives Matter' folks are ALL pasty white trustafarians who blocked an ambulance en route to Mass. General and almost cost him his life. They didn't express a fucking ounce of regret.

#2  They should make it legal to do this on purpose. I remember the assholes that did this in Somerville & Milton on I-93 just about two years ago this month. Those sons of bitches completely fucking skated. I now carry around a 40 ounce bottle of Pine-Sol that is filled with bong water, ammonia, and filtered Bud Light, if you catch my drift. It'll be poured over in its entirety on the nearest dumb fucker that does this again if I'm ever stuck in it. My only regret is not eating a pound of asparagus before I pissed into the bottle and not getting more bong water from my tenants. I could, of course, recalibrate, or add a second bottle...
