#1 Heads Up People: After Obama allowed international groups to take over ICANN, website name registration gouging has begun. To reserve a website that used to cost a few dollars a year can cost hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands of dollars a year. I saw one URL name that ICANN now wants $35,000.00 for one year even though no one owned it yet. If your website is popular and you want to renew it expect these international groups to demand tens of thousands of dollars from you now. |
