Clinton lawyer wants GOP to stop North Carolina recount |
2016-11-29 |
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] ![]() ... former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, sometimes described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as a crook... 's legal counsel gives some confusing advice. Democratic super-lawyer Marc Elias, known for his expertise in recount and election law, has demanded Republican Gov. Pat McCrory drop his calls for a North Carolina recount, on behalf of the apparently victorious Democrat Roy Cooper. Meanwhile, ...back at the dirigible, Cynthia backed into the galley, the barbecue fork held in front of her. Jack!she called. Where the hell are you?... Elias is charging ahead on Clinton's behalf in an anticipated three-state recount that is far less likely to change the result of the presidential election. Even after Clinton conceded and the B.O. regime gave a clean bill of health to the presidential election, Elias announced that the Clinton campaign will participate in a recount. "It's fundamental to ensure that every vote is properly counted," he insisted on Saturday. Not so in North Carolina. "Cooper's lead in NC is now 9,133," Elias tweeted Monday. "McCrory should concede." |

#4 I mean, don't you think, at some point, you have enough Republican governors? |

#3 Or as Gore tried in Florida, make up different rules for each recount until, hopefully, you get the results you are looking for. |

#2 So - recount in places where the gap is five figures worth of votes. Don't recount where the gap is only 10% of that. Got it. |
