| 12 Die In Rocket Attack At Faryab Wedding Ceremony |

| Getting married in Afghanistan is a dangerous business Security forces in the northern province of Faryab on Thursday said that a rocket hit a wedding ceremony in Kosa Qala village of Khawja Sabzposh district and killed at least 12 civilians. Five children and six women were among those killed. In addition, 30 others were wounded including the bride. According to security officials, the rocket was fired by armed opponents. The attack comes amid four days of heavy clashes between security forces and the Taliban in the area. |
