TeeVee Host Calls For End To Muslim Immigration To Australia |
2016-07-20 |
Sonia Kruger, who hosts Channel Nine's The Voice and Today Extra, was discussing last week’s terror attack in Nice when she said she agreed with a column by Andrew Bolt in the Herald Sun who argued that Muslim immigration into France led to an increased terror risk. "Personally I think Andrew Bolt has a point here," Ms Kruger said. "There is a correlation between the number of people in a country who are Muslim and the number of terrorist attacks. The Guardian reports her as saying: "I have a lot of very good friends who are Muslim, who are peace-loving, who are beautiful people, but there are fanatics. "Personally, I would like to see it stop now for Australia. I want to feel safe and I want to see freedom of speech." Her comments have provoked a furious backlash, but her employers at Channel Nine have released a statement defending her, citing freedom of speech. |

#2 Massive Muslim migration in the past 10 years congregating in Melbourne and Sydney. New mosques going up all the time. We have a large proportion of theocrats, Muslim Brotherhood are active. Many MB sympathisers have manouevred themselves into positions of influence in media, academia, legal activism and - I've no doubt - intel. There is no legal or constitutional guarantee of Freedom of Speech in Australia - we have no Bill of Rights or First Amendment. But we do have a guarantee of unlimited freedom of religion at s.118 in the Constitution. The constitution overrules all state and commonwealth laws - that means they can practice sharia whenever they want and it would by law overrule any other laws. This is a massive problem. Good to see Breitbart write on Sonia Kruger But Sonia Kruger's career is now over. Nine defended her for now. But she can't go for another job as she has been slandered as a "casual racist" There is now a sustained and persistant lobby i Australia to have "Islam" redefined as a "race" so that anti-discrimination laws can be used to silence critics of political Islamism. They have gained a lot of traction from Pauline Hanson and Sonia Kruger's comments - they win at times like this because it's too easy for them to compare blanket statements like "ban muslim migration" with racism and prejudice. It's why people need to be very careful with their word choice - words matter. It is important to always acknowledge the struggle between secular and theocrat in Islam, and that the problem is only with the theocrats. But it's because we cannot tell the difference that a temporary ban might be useful. Not just "ban all Muslims" I know it is hard to speak in a slightly more complex way on daytime TV but you have to do it otherwise you get your career ruined like Sonia Kruger, and hand ammunition to the Muslim Brotherhood who are lobbying like crazy to get the law changed. Australia's migration system is not allowed to discriminate on the basis of religion. australia has gone from a negligible minority of muslims in 1980 to 50,000 people shutting off a huge street for Eid festival this year. |

#1 Some of our Aussie RantBrothers can comment to this, but as I understand there really is a problem in the northern coast states. |
