| ISIS destroys power transmission lines near Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – A source from the Salahuddin province informed on Wednesday, that ISIS blew up five (5) power transmission towers in eastern Tikrit. Informing about another incident of carnage carried out by the ISIS, the source said, “Today, ISIS blew up five power transmission towers in Albu Khudu at southern al-Daur, 25 km east of Tikrit.” “The explosion was carried out by using IEDs that wear planted near the towers,” the source added. Iraqi forces raid Sheikh Ali (IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – Media officials with the Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday, that the security forces raided Sheikh Ali village, south of Sharqat in northern Salahuddin. In an official statement the officials said, “Today, detachments of the Anti-Terrorism Directorate, Ninth Armored Division and Salahuddin Operations stormed into the Sheikh Ali village, south of Sharqat and raised the Iraqi flag over it after inflicting loss of lives and equipment of the enemy.” |
