| 13 soldiers martyred, 108 militants killed in latest clearance operations |

| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] At least 13 soldiers of the Afghan National Army (ANA) forces bit the dust in the latest counter-terrorism operations across the country. The Ministry of Defense (MoD) said at least 108 Death Eaters including two commanders of the Death Eaters were also killed and 61 others were maimed. According to a statement by MoD, the operatoins were conducted in Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country.. , Kunar, Pashtun-infested Logar, Paktika ...which coincidentally borders South Wazoo... , Ghazni, Khost, Maidan Wardak, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Zabul, Daikundi, Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... , Ghohr, Farah, Baghlan, Balkh, Jawzjan, Kunduz, Nimroz, and Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... provinces. The statement further added that the clearance operations were conducted jointly with the security personnel belonging to the other security institutions, including the Afghan police and Afghan Air Force. At least 38 of th eDeath Eaters wre killed in Helmand, 12 were killed in Nimroz, 20 in Nangarhar, 17 in Ghor, 5 in Farah, 2 in Ghazni, and 2 others in Helmand and Herat provinces, MoD added. According to the Ministry of Defense, at least 13 soldiers of the Afghan National Army (ANA) also bit the dust as they continue to suppress the forces of Evil belonging to the local and international terrorist organizations. |
