Man from Ahmadi community shot dead in Attock

Once upon a time, Allah thought Ahmadis were Muslims like all the rest, and one of them even became the father of Pakistan's nuclear program. But then one day Allah decided to alter the universe, making them not Muslim. Since then it has been open season on one of the most productive groups in the country.
[DAWN] Unidentified gunnies rubbed out a 65-year-old pharmacy owner from the Ahmadi community in Punjab's Attock city on Saturday.

Police said Abdul Hameed Khan, 65, a resident of Darul Islam neighbourhood in Attack city and a retired accountant was standing outside his house when two unidentified motorcyclists shot him before fleeing the scene. "They shot a single bullet to the victim's face."

The man suffered critical bullet wound and was taken to the nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him dead

 on arrival, police said.

District Police Officer (DPO) Zahid Nawaz Marwat told Dawn that the victim belonged to Ahmadi community and was running a pharmacy store after retirement.
