Iraqi forces, militia battle it out against ISIS near al-Saqlawiya

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – A security source in Anbar Province announced on Tuesday, that violent confrontations and clashes broke out between the security forces and ISIS members in northern Fallujah.

The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “This morning, violent confrontations and clashes broke out between the security forces, al-Hashd al-Shaabi and ISIS in al-Saqlawiya vicinity in northern Fallujah.”

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added, “The confrontations and clashes are still ongoing until now.”

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Tuesday, Federal Police Chief Lieutenant General Raed Shaker Jawdat announced, that the security forces advanced toward east of Fallujah from three axes, while pointed out to the killing of 10 terrorists and destruction of four booby-trapped vehicles driven by suicide bombers.

Jawdat said in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The Federal Police forces advanced, at dawn today, toward east of Fallujah from three axes.”

Jawdat added, “Our forces liberated a road east of Fallujah and killed 10 ISIS terrorists, as well as destroying four booby-trapped vehicles driven by suicide bombers.”

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Tuesday the Federal Police announced liberating two villages and a construction materials laboratory north of Fallujah.

Federal Police Chief Raed Shaker Jawdat said in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Today the Federal Police forces managed to liberate the villages of Abu Ouda and al-Abasi and a construction materials laboratory north of Fallujah City.”

Jawdat added, “The security forces are rapidly advancing toward the determined targets.”

Iraqi forces liberate Haswat al-Aseel

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The Federal Police Chief Raed Shaker Jawdat announced on Tuesday, that the security forces liberated a village in the eastern entrance of Fallujah City, while pointed out that the Federal Police forces are continuing to liberate the remaining areas of the city.

Jawdat said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The Federal Police forces liberated Haswat al-Aseel village in the eastern entrance of Fallujah.”

Jawdat added, “The Federal Police forces continue liberating the remaining areas if Fallujah City.”

Iraqi kops liberate Jamila

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Tuesday, Badr Organization announced, that the security forces liberated the villages of Albu Ouda and Jamila northeast of Fallujah from the ISIS control.

The organization said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The security forces, backed by Badr Organization’s fighters managed, at noon today, to liberate the villages of Albu Ouda and Jamila northeast of Fallujah.”

The statement added, “The fighters managed to dismantle 31 improvised explosive devices in the two villages, without causing any human losses.”

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Tuesday, Baghdad Operations Command announced liberating two villages near al-Karma, in addition to killing 13 ISIS militants.

The commander of Baghdad Operations Lieutenant General Abdel Amir al-Shamri said in a brief statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Today the security forces managed to liberate Albu Khanfar village completely and detonated a booby-trapped vehicle before reaching its target near al-Karma.”

Shamri added, “The village of al-Lahib east of Karma had been also liberated, while 13 ISIS terrorists were killed and two booby-trapped vehicles were destroyed.”

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Tuesday, Baghdad Operations Command announced, that a number of ISIS member fled from al-Zarka area, while pointed out that the village of Albu Jassim north of Karma had been liberated.

The command said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The army’s 14th brigade liberated Albu Jassim village north of Karma and detonated a booby-trapped vehicle before reaching the front line of our troops.”

The statement added, “A number of ISIS terrorist members fled from al-Zarka area in al-Karma axis,” indicating that, “One of ISIS leaders was killed and other members were wounded by the security forces in al-Dawaya area north of Karma.”

Iraqi warbirds hammer ISIS positions near Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The Commander of Anbar Operations, Maj. Gen. Ismail al-Mahalawi, announced on Tuesday, that the international coalition destructed five warehouses belonging to the ISIS east of Ramadi.

Mahalawi said in a brief statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The international coalition aviation managed to bombard four mortar detachments, four booby-trapped warehouses and a cache of weapons, in addition to [bombing] two rocket launchers in the [area] of al-Subaihat west of Fallujah,” adding that, “The bombardment resulted in the destruction of these detachments, warehouses and rocket launchers, in addition to killing all [ISIS] elements inside them.”

Iraqi kops liberate areas between Fallujah and al-Karma

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The commander of the Federal Police, Lieutenant General Raed Shaker Jawdat, announced on Tuesday, that all the roads and villages between al-Karma City and the entrance of Fallujah were liberated from ISIS members.”

Jawdat said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The Federal Police forces finished cleansing all roads and villages between al-Karma and the entrance of Fallujah.”

“The security forces deployed the defense lines near al-Sijar Bridge,” Jawdat added.

Iraqi militia eliminates ISIS female sniper near al-Shahabi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – On Tuesday, a source in the leadership of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia announced killing an ISIS female soldier during confrontations in the area of al-Shahabi east of Fallujah, while pointed out that the soldier, who worked as a sniper for ISIS, was an Azerbaijani national.

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “A female soldier who worked as a sniper for ISIS and held an Azerbaijani nationality was killed during inspection and cleansing operations by the joint forces in the area of al-Shahabi in the district of al-Karma (19 km east of Fallujah),” adding that, “ISIS is recruiting foreign and Arab women in the defensive lines after the killing of hundreds of its elements in the cleansing battles of Fallujah axes.”
