| 18 ISIS troops die in Salahuddin |

| (IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – The leadership of the Federal Police announced on Thursday the killing of 18 militants from the so-called ISIS, including a sniper, during armed clashes with the security forces north of Tikrit in Salahuddin Province. The Federal police Captain Raed Shakir Jawdat said in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Armed clashes broke out between a force from the Federal Police and ISIS members near a fertilizers factory on the road between Baiji and Sharqat north of Tikrit,” pointing out that, “18 ISIS fighters were killed during the clashes, including a sniper.” Jawdat added, “The security forces also managed to detonate two car bombs during the operation.” |
