Colonel Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal said the clash broke out in Karkani area late Tuesday leaving nine fighters of Daesh [Islamic State] and five Taliban killed. Those killed include Mir Gulab, a local commander of Taliban.

Col. Mashriqiwal further said that six Taliban and four Daesh [Islamic State] hard boyz also sustained injuries in the shootout.

According to the police spokesperson, two fighters of Taliban group have been taken into custody by Daesh [Islamic State].

The turban groups themselves have not yet commented on the report. However,
a poor excuse is better than no excuse at all...
Nangarhar has become a battle ground for them where they have announced ‘Jihad’ against each other.

Thousands of turbans, most of them loyal to Taliban and Daesh [Islamic State], have been stationed in Nangarhar where they occasionally among themselves.
