![]() ...the capital of Afghanistan. Home to continuous fighting from 1992 to 1996 between the forces of would-be strongman and Pak ISI/Jamaat-e-Islami sock puppet Gulbuddin Hekmayar and the Northern Alliance, a period which won Hek the title Most Evil Man in the Worldand didn't do much for the reputations of the Northern Alliance guys either.... Deputy front man for the Ministry of Interior Najib Danish said the commander of the 13th police district was suspended over the rocket attack. He said four other officials were also suspended over the rocket attack as an investigation is underway regarding the incident. Without elaborating further, Danish said the decision to suspended the top police official has been taken by the leadership of Interior Ministry following the rocket attack. At least four rockets were fired on the parliament building in Dar-ul-Aman area of the city on Monday as security bigshots were summoned to brief the politicians regarding the security situation of the country. A number of the rockets impacted the parliament building and left damages to the newly-built building but no casualties were reported. The Taliban group grabbed credit behind the rocket attack. The new parliament building has been built with the financial support of India and was inaugurated during a visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Kabul late in December last year. |
