in Iran, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei stressed on Wednesdday that despite 37 years of pressure, enemy failed in their plots against the Islamic Theocratic

In a speech addressing thousands of people from the city of Najafabad at the Imam Khomeini Mosque downtown Tehran, Imam Khamenei urged high turnout in the parliamentary elections which will take place on Friday.Imam Khamenei
"When enemy witnesses that after 37 years [since the victory of the Islamic Revolution], [and] with all [kinds of] pressure, cruel sanctions and spiteful and damaging propaganda it has failed to prevent people's allegiance to the establishment," it comes to realize the grandeur of the Islamic establishment, Ayatollah Khamenei said.
The Leader said enemy is attempting to create a "false bipolarity" in Iran like "pro-government and anti-government parliament," stressing that the Iranian people will stand up to enemy plots

The next elections for the 10th term of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) and the 5th term of the Assembly of Experts will take place simultaneously on February 26.
"The Iranian nation wants a pious, committed and brave parliament that is not deceived by the enemy tricks; a parliament that attaches importance to dignity and independence [of the country] and stands up to the greed of powers whose hands have been cut off from Iran," said the Leader.
