#10 Soooooo IIUC, one more PCoorect-Deniable reason among several already as to why-n-how Humanity won't be exploring or colonizing Deep Space in righteous Anti-Solar, Anti-GWCC, etc. indignation??? You know, THE REASON WHY "OWG" + "GLOBAL GOVT." IS AKA "SPACE GOVT-ORDER". [FAMILY GUY'S GREAT IRISHMAN PETE GRIFFITH STARING ANGRILY/MENACINGLY AT THE SUN, THE SAME "FEELING ALL HAUGHTY + SAFE-N-SECURE UP THERE", here]. Oh yes, Sun, you will surrender like France to Peter + Earth, oh yes you will! I don't have to bring up Guam Taotamonas 1960'S-1970'S = 2014 "EDGE OF TOMORROW" and "INTERSTELLAR" do I??? |

#9 A very good point almostanonymous, I was raised democrat but was in college during part of the civil rights movement. When I realized that all of the governors, police chiefs, etc., that were standing on the steps of the colleges and siccing the dogs on the marchers were DEMOCRATS, I left the party and vowed never to EVER vote for one again. The current theme of the democrats has done nothing since offer any temptation of returning to their fold. I turned 21 in 1966 and my first vote in a Presidential election was for Richard Nixon. |

#6 Please let us know where this is published to avoid driving traffic to Salon. A legitimate point, whitecollar redneck. badanov had originally presented the entire editorial with the in-lines it cries out for; unfortunately, I revealed a hitherto unsuspected bug in the current iteration of the Rantburg program when I Page 49'd it, which deleted the text. |

#5 All of their points about the "white men" left out the fact they were Democrats, the party of slavery. |

#4 "All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh-water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?" |
