| Kurds ambush ISIS probe, 15+ dead Bad Guys |

| (IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A Kurdish security source said on Monday, that 45 ISIS elements had been either killed or wounded in western Mosul. The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “A group of ISIS elements carrying light and medium weapons and explosives tried to sneak into the front lines of Peshmerga forces near al-Kazak region (45 km west of Mosul).” The source, who declined to be named, added: “Peshmerga fighters were able to detect an attempt of infiltration and opened fire against them, supported by the international coalition, resulting in the killing of 15 ISIS members.” The source indicated that “A group of ISIS elements driving Hummer vehicles tried to get close to the Peshmerga lines in another axis near in al-Kask region, but Peshmerga forces, supported by the international coalition, were able to stop them, in addition to killing and wounding some 30 of them.” |
