| (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source within the police force announced on Friday, that 17 people had been killed and 35 others were wounded in a bomb blast that took place inside a funeral in al-Amel District southwest of Baghdad. The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, informed IraqiNews.com, “The outcome of the suicide bombing, which targeted a funeral near the al-Ashra al-Mubashareen Mosque in the al-Amel District southwest of Baghdad, amounted to 17 dead and 35 wounded.” Earlier, a source in the police said that a number of people had been either killed or wounded in a suicide bombing that targeted a funeral southwest of Baghdad. |
