| Kurd forces liberates 5 villages in Ninevah |

| (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Media War Cell announced on Thursday the liberation of five villages in the area of Sinjar. The cell said in a brief statement received by IraqiNews.com: “Peshmerga forces managed to liberate five villages in the district of Sinjar, in addition to trapping the district from all sides,” adding that, “The troops also managed to liberate the areas of Kabarit, Tinsor and 74th Street in Sinjar.” Peshmerga forces have begun on Thursday the implementation of an extensive military operation to liberate the city of Sinjar (110 northwest of Mosul) from the control of the ISIS elements. |
