(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – War Media Cell announced on Monday the killing and wounding of 12 ISIS elements including the so-called military commander of the area of al-Jazeerah.The cell said in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Our forces have killed three terrorists and injured five others in the area of al-Habaniyah, while another force had found and dismantled 6 explosive devices in the area of the 7th Kilometer and 8 explosive devices in the area of al-Halabsa at the end of al-Kuwaiti Street.”
The statement added, “al-Jazeerah Operations troops were able to treat two booby-trapped shelters with terrorists inside them, and managed to kill a sniper wearing the Afghan uniform, in addition to dismantling two explosive devices and destroying a armored vehicle in the area of Albu Hayat, while also detonated 62 explosive devices and destroyed two booby-trapped vehicles, killing two terrorists,” pointing out that, “Samarra Operations troops were able to kill the so-called military commander of the area of al-Jazeerah, along with his aides and destroy five shelters including large quantities of equipment.”
