| Security forces kill 2 ISIS elements by ambush east of Ramadi [IraqiNews] al-Anbar -- The Federal Police Command announced on Saturday the killing of two elements of the ISIS organization by a security ambush east of Ramadi. The Commander of the Federal Police Command, Raed Shaker Jawdat, said in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, "A force from the 2nd brigade of the federal police had managed to kill 2 ISIS elements by an ambush in the area of Hasiba (7 km east of Ramadi)," pointing out that, "Another force from the 2nd brigade was able to destroy a hideout belonging to ISIS after shelling it by a cannon 106 mm in the area of al-Madiq east of Ramadi." 17 ISIS elements killed in the cleansing battles of al-Karma east of Fallujah [IraqiNews] Anbar – A source in Anbar Operations Command announced on Saturday, that 17 elements of the ISIS have been killed in the cleansing battles of al-Karma District east of Fallujah (62 km west of Baghdad). The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, "The security forces carried out, this morning, an extensive military operation in al-Karma District (19 km east of Fallujah), killing 17 elements of the organization, in addition to destroying six vehicles carrying medium and heavy weapons. " The source, who asked anonymity, added: "ISIS is weaker than previous times after killing dozens of its elements during the recent days and the destruction of its main strongholds in Fallujah and al-Karma." Joint Operations announces killing and wounding 27 militants west of Samarra [IraqiNews] Baghdad – Joint Operations Command announced on Saturday the killing and wounding of 20 gunnies west of Samarra, pointing out to the killing of "the head of Warrar camp" in Ramadi. Joint Operations Command said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, "Forces belonging to Samarra Operations Command managed to kill seven murderous Moslems and injure 20 others, as in addition to destroying three vehicles in the village of Albu Ali," noting that, "Those forces managed to dismantle 39 bombs in Sayad Ghraib area southwest of Samarra." The statement also added, "The Anti-Terrorism Forces, stationed in the western axis, had managed to kill the so-called the head of Warrar camp." |
