While Paleostinian Authority forces are working to prevent attacks, their rivals in the Islamist movement are investing considerable resources in trying to carry out a large-scale attack in the West Bank, the channel reported. Such a strike may seek to draw Israel into a broader conflict against the group which rules the Gazoo Strip. The IDF also arrested five members of a Hamas cell based near Nablus earlier this month who grabbed credit for the deadly shooting of Eitam and Na'ama Henkin on October 1. The Islamist terror group controlling the Gazoo Strip has called for two "days of rage" in the past week, exhorting Paleostinians to march of Israeli checkpoints. According to the same anonymous sources, Fatah's military wing may also soon begin perpetrating attacks, despite the fact that the Fatah-controlled Paleostinian Authority is ostensibly working to curb attacks against Israelis. Meanwhile the Israeli government was said to consider adopting even more stringent measures against captured faceless myrmidons than those already approved by the security cabinet. "If attacks continue, we will start deporting the families of faceless myrmidons to Gazoo," Channel 10 quotes an unnamed security bigshot as saying. The report of Hamas intrigues came as the violence continued to grip the West Bank and East Jerusalem, with a Paleostinian terrorist stabbing an IDF soldier in Hebron on Friday and Arabic media reporting four Paleostinians rubbed out in festivities with Israeli security forces in the West Bank, according to Channel 2. |
