| 12 ISIS elements killed, 10 wounded in aerial bombardment east of Ramadi [IraqiNews] Anbar – A security source in Anbar announced on Wednesday, that 12 elements of ISIS were killed and 10 others were maimed in an aerial bombardment east of Ramadi. The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, "The Air Force, in coordination with Anbar Operations Command, bombed headquarters and warehouses for weapons belonging to ISIS in Albu Shajel area in Khalidiya Island, (23 km east of Ramadi)". The source, who asked anonymity, added: "the bombing resulted in the killing of 12 elements of the organization and the injury of 10 others." Security forces kill ISIS governor in Baghdadi District west of Anbar [IraqiNews] al-Anbar -- The leader within al-Hashed al-Sha'bi Wathiq Fartusi announced on Wednesday the killing of one of the ISIS governor in the district of al-Baghdadi west of Anbar. Fartusi stated for IraqiNews.com, "The joint security forces were able to kill the ISIS Wali of al-Doulab area belonging to the district of al-Baghdadi near Ainul-Assad base," pointing out that, "The governor has been newly appointed by the organization in the region." 55 ISIS elements killed, wounded in airstrike near Fallujah [IraqiNews] Anbar – On Wednesday, a source in Anbar Operations Command announced that 55 elements of ISIS had been either killed or maimed in a bombing that targeted a convoy of them near the city of Fallujah. The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, "The Air Force, in coordination with Anbar Operations, managed to bomb a convoy of ISIS vehicles that was heading from Albu Shajl area to Fallujah, ... the City of Mosques, which might have somthing to do with why it's not called Center of Prosperityor a really nice place to raise your kids... 40 km to the east of Ramadi." The source, who asked anonymity, added: "the bombing resulted in the killing of 25 elements of the organization and wounding 30 others, in addition to destroying nine vehicles." Security forces control 60% of Ramadi axes, 40 ISIS militants killed [IraqiNews] Anbar – On Wednesday the head of the security committee in Khalidiya district in Anbar province, Ibrahim Fahdawi, announced that 60% of the axes and the entrances of the city of Ramadi (110 km west of Baghdad) have been liberated, noting that the cleansing battles resulted in the killing of 40 ISIS elements. Ibrahim Fahdawi said in an interview for IraqiNews.com that "60% of the axes and the entrances surrounding Ramadi have been liberated from ISIS, during the confrontations and battles of Ramadi liberation." Fahdawi added that "the security forces of the army and police carried out extensive military operations that were considered the deadliest of its kind against the terrorist organization, killing 40 elements of the organization," asserting that "the next few hours will be decisive." |
