RAF helicopter crash: five killed in accident in Afghanistan |

[Guardian] Five people, including two RAF personnel, have died following a helicopter crash in Afghanistan, officials from the Ministry of Defence and the Nato-led Afghan training mission Resolute Support have said. Five other occupants of the aircraft, which was carrying 10 people in total, were injured, a Resolute Support statement said. The UK Puma Mk 2 helicopter crashed on Sunday while attempting to land at the Resolute Support headquarters in the Afghan capital, Kabul. Helo reportedly become entangled in an aerostat balloon tether line. |
