2015-10-11 |
![]() The customer, who remains unidentified, opened fire on the armed suspect around 5 a.m. Saturday morning, according to The Post and Courier. The suspect, who police have also not named, was rushed to the hospital where he died from his wounds. The customer's decision to use force drew praise from employees. "He saved us, that's what he did," a Waffle House employee said. One police officer on the scene speaking on the condition of anonymity said the customer's actions are an example of how guns in the right hands can save people, saying, "It's says something about firearms, for good people with firearms being in the right hands." |

#11 The suspect, who police have also not named, was rushed to the hospital where he died from his wounds. This is key. Also, I wonder if the lives saved by direct action count as much as the lives taken by the idiot in Oregon. Or do they only count 10% because the absence of a negative gets discounted? |

#8 Besoeker, "Grand Slam" is at Denny's (which I loathe). WH has a simple menu for us simple minds. The menu just not that friendly to my diabetes. Oh, well. |

#6 Has anyone noticed that all through this miserable week in SC, there's been no looting, no panicked mobs? And how when some dumb sh!t walks into a Waffle House thinking he's going to take what he wants, this is the result? Not the only reasons I love my adopted home state, but important ones. Mike |

#5 Sit in a corner, facing the door or your vehicle, or both. Learn the menu, I recommend the 'Grand Slam.' Bring a paper to read. Don't give anyone your name. Leave a good tip, use cash, and depart quickly when finished. Safety is all about exposure. |
