Over 300 Insurgents Killed, Including Foreigners, In Kunduz Battle |

![]() The Police Chief of Kunduz confirmed the casualties and said that Arabs, Chechens and Pak faceless myrmidons were leading the war in Kunduz -- which fell to the Taliban on Monday. TOLOnews journalist Sharif Amiri -- who is the first journalist to make his way to Kunduz city -- reports that still some parts of the city are being controlled by the Taliban. He said the citizens cannot move freely in the city as there are huge threats of Taliban counterattacks. According to Sharif, the He said however that families who have been trapped in their homes are facing food shortages. The Kunduz city center collapsed into the hands of the Taliban after hundreds of myrmidons, armed with light and heavy weapons, launched a well-planned and coordinated attack on the city on Monday. After the city fell to Taliban, the faceless myrmidons stormed the government facilities and also attacked the prison, freeing all 600 inmates, including 110 Taliban members. The troops inside the city are battling the holy warriors and have retaken several parts of the city. But the reinforcement troops have still not been able to make their way to the city as the highways are blocked by the Taliban. |
