[Libya Herald] Tunisian security forces appear to have foiled an attempt to infiltrate boom-mobiles as well as arms and explosives from Libya in an incident about which details remain slight.Three vehicles without registration plates were yesterday trying to cross the border ditch near Dhehiba in the eastern Tatouine governate. They were intercepted and fired on by members of the Tunisian National Guard. One vehicle was able to flee back across the border into Libya but two others were seized.
At this point details become murky. Tunisian Ministry of Defence front man Belhassen Weslati told local radio that one of the captured vehicles had been booby-trapped with a grenade and an boom belt. This device was successfully defused.
Rooters however has reported that both vehicles were rigged as boom-mobiles and also contained ten Kalashnikovs, RPGs, explosives, Libyan telephone cards and documents with the insignia of Islamic State

It is unclear how many, if any, of the occupants of the two vehicles were detained. Tatouine is widely believed to have become a staging post for holy warriors moving between Libya and Tunisia.
