| 38 militants killed in newest security operations |

| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] 38 snuffies have been killed in newest security operations in eight provinces, the Ministry of Interior announced on Wednesday. A statement issued by the ministry states that the operations were jointly conducted by Afghan National Police (ANP), Afghan National Army (ANA) and National Directorate of Security ...the Afghan national intel agency... (NDS) in, Kunduz, Badakhshan, Sar-e-Pul, Kandahar, Ghazni, Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... and Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... provinces in past 24 hours. The statement adds that 38 snuffies were killed and eight others maimed in these operations. Ministry of Interior urges all citizens to report any suspicious activities they experience to security forces by dialing 119 from their cell phones. |
