[DAWN] At least 15 suspected militants were killed and several others were injured on Saturday as military planes pounded terrorist hideouts in Tirah valley of Khyber Agency.Security officials said that air strikes were conducted on the hideouts of militants belonging to the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Lashkar-i-Islam. Fifteen suspected militants were killed whereas four militant hideouts were destroyed in the air strikes.
However, these claims could not be independently verified as journalists have limited access to the restive tribal agency.
