| [Khaama (Afghanistan)] Police foiled rocket attacks on Kabul ...the capital of Afghanistan. Home to continuous fighting from 1992 to 1996 between the forces of would-be strongman and Pak ISI/Jamaat-e-Islami sock puppet Gulbuddin Hekmayar and the Northern Alliance, a period which won Hek the title Most Evil Man in the Worldand didn't do much for the reputations of the Northern Alliance guys either.... city on Thursday. General Abdul Rahman Rahimi, the Kabul Police Chief told news hounds that murderous Moslems had placed four BM1 rockets in a grape garden in Tarakhil area, the center of Deh Sabz District, in order to launch them on Kabul city. He said upon receiving information, police raided that garden on time and recovered the rockets which were ready to be fired. General Rahimi praised residents of the area for assisting their security forces. The rockets were later defused by police. This comes a day after a suicide kaboom left four people killed and 41 others maimed in Paghman District of Kabul. The jacket wallah was driving a vehicle laden with explosives and rammed it on to the wall of Paghman Police HQ on Wednesday which resulted in the deaths and injuries of 45 people. Those killed included the CID officer of Paghman District and those maimed included 10 students of a nearby school. |
