Former Turkish president criticizes attack on daily Hurriyet |

"Such incidents cause unbelievable damage to Turkey's image, our government's image, and the image of Turkish politicians," he added, stressing that such attacks must not be allowed. "Everybody may have different opinions, and you may not accept them. But in democracies protests are held in democratic ways," Gul said. "In particular, attacks on the press and the media will hurt Turkey's image in the world." |
