| Saudi-led strikes target Houthis at air base in Sanaa |

| [ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The Saudi-led coalition has targeted the al-Dailami air base and destroyed its arms warehouses on Wednesday north of the Yemeni capital and close to Sanaa's airport. Eye witnesses said kabooms rocked Sanaa at dawn as smoke billowed, indicating that the arms warehouse seized by Houthi ...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The Yemeni government has accused the Houthis of having ties to the Iranian government, which wouldn't suprise most of us. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews... militias had been targeted. This strike comes after dozens of Houthi militias were killed on Tuesday after a Scud missile went off while it was being launched from the air base. The coalition has also intensified its raids on Houthi position in the governorate of Marib and used Apache helicopters for surveillance purposes in a bit to resume its campaign of forcing out the militias from the governorate. |
