Pakistani army kills 53 militants near the Afghan border

[Iran Press TV] At least 53 snuffies have been killed in festivities with the Mighty Pak Army in the country's northwestern tribal region near the border with Afghanistan.

's Anadolu Agency, Pak troops launched an operation against pro-Talibs in the country's restive region of South Wazoo on Thursday.

At least 10 snuffies and a soldier were killed in the festivities, which took place in the town of Laddah, 30 kilometers (18 miles) off the region's administrative headquarters in Wana.

The South Waziristan festivities also left another soldier injured, Pak security sources said.

Earlier in the day, the Mighty Pak Army launched Arclight airstrikes against the positions of pro-Taliban bandidos Lions of Islam in North Waziristan, leaving 43 snuffies dead.

The attacks came three days after Pak Arclight airstrikes claimed the lives of 50 snuffies in the Shawal and Gharlamani areas of North Waziristan and 15 other snuffies in the Rajgal area of Khyber Agency
