Candid Bilateral Talks Held in Pakistan |

![]() ...Adviser to Pak Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on National Security and Foreign Affairs, who believes in goodjihadis and badjihadis as a matter of national policy... held a meeting with a high-level delegation from Afghanistan on bilateral relations involving peace and stability in the country. The Afghan delegation has since returned to Kabul ...the capital of Afghanistan. Home to continuous fighting from 1992 to 1996 between the forces of would-be strongman and Pak ISI/Jamaat-e-Islami sock puppet Gulbuddin Hekmayar and the Northern Alliance, a period which won Hek the title Most Evil Man in the Worldand didn't do much for the reputations of the Northern Alliance guys either.... In a statement issued by the ministry, Pakistain said the delegation had been led by Afghan Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani, who was accompanied by Masoom Stanekzai, Acting Defence Minister and Rahmatullah Nabil, Director General of Afghan National Directorate of Security ...the Afghan national intel agency... and others. "The two sides, inter alia, had candid discussions on Pakistain-Afghanistan bilateral relation, evolving political and security situation in Afghanistan, security cooperation between the two countries, and peace and reconciliation in Afghanistan," read the statement. The statement went on to say Aziz conveyed Pakistain's conviction for building a constructive and forward-looking relationship with Afghanistan, and conveyed Pakistain's readiness to work with Afghanistan in overcoming all challenges. "He emphasized that the two countries should have trust and faith in each other and discourage spoilers and detractors who have been trying to create mistrust between the two brotherly countries," read the statement. |
