"Such attacks are in full contradiction with the principle of good neighborliness and against international recognized laws. This can damage the two countries friendly relations," said Deputy Foreign Minister Hikmat Khalil Karzai.
During the meeting the deputy minister called such attacks a violation of illusory sovereignty and integrity of Afghanistan and asked for Pakistain to put an end to it urgently.
Pakistain ambassador Syed Ibrar Hussain promised to pass on Afghanistan's concerns and demands to the Pak officials.
Kunar has been the target of Pak shelling for the past few years.
The most recent attacks have claimed the lives of at least 20 people, destroyed close to 100 homes and maimed 80 people, including women and kiddies.
