| MOGADISHU -- Unknown gunmen have on Tuesday shot and killed senior officer serving for Afgoye administration of Somalia government in an agricultural rich town near Mogadishu. The late officer whose name has been identified as Mohamud Mohamed Nur was gunned down by suspected Al Shabab gunmen in the town Afgoye lies 30 Km south-west of the Somalia capital, witnesses told Shabelle Media. The killers have escaped from the shooting scene after Tuesday’s attack.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the killing but Al Shabab militants carried out similar attacks since the start of the Ramadan. | ||
