While talking to news hounds today, Rashid said "Nawaz while rejecting the Iftar-dinner invitation of Zardari, sent a clandestine message to him assuring him of continuing the reconciliation policy."
He said that Nawaz advised Zardari to leave the country immediately, before he got into trouble.
