[Inquirer] Philippine security forces on Saturday night raided an alleged Abu Sayyaf safe house in Talabaan village here, resulting in the arrest of a suspected militant and the recovery of explosives. The arrested man was identified as Salam Naim Arula.The bomb components recovered consisted of a liquified petroleum gas tank, ammonium nitrate, shrapnel, M14 ammunition, improvised blasting caps, electric wire and an improvised bomb.
The Joint Task Group Zamboanga conducted the raid to arrest Abs Indanan, alias "Alkobar", an alleged Abu Sayyaf militant based in Al Barka town in Basilan.
